Valley Forge to Speak on Capitol Hill
WASHINGTON DC (Mar. 3, 2007) -- Valley Forge Composite Technologies President, Louis Brothers, will be among the featured speakers on Capitol Hill during the United States Industry Coalition (USIC) annual meeting on March 7th, 2007. Brothers will discuss the collaborative effort between Valley Forge and the physicists from the former Soviet Union and how this partnership has resulted in the cutting-edge explosives detection technology project that Valley Forge is bringing to the market. “Speaking at such a venue provides tremendous visibility for Valley Forge. We will also have an opportunity to learn about other high-tech industry developments and learn effective ways to promote our technology commercially”, said Brothers.
USIC is “a nonprofit association of American businesses, associations and academic institutions whose primary purpose is to promote technology commercialization in the service of nonproliferation, national security and global peace.” Since 1994, USIC has facilitated business ventures worth hundreds of millions of dollars and have created thousands of nonmilitary jobs in the former Soviet Union. They support the goals of the Global Initiatives for Proliferation Prevention (IPP) program headed by the United States Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration. USIC has more than 150 member companies. For more information on the mission of USIC visit www.USIC.net.
Brothers and Valley Forge Director Randy Broadright will travel to Washington DC March 6-8 to attend the USIC function. They will also meet with Members of Congress and the United States Senate to discuss the company's detection technologies. “Our technology will play a major role in bringing us closer to a safer world. We are excited to share this with others,” says Brothers.
