Valley Forge President Showcases Technology on Capitol Hill
WASHINGTON DC (Apr 16, 2007) -- Valley Forge Composite Technologies, Inc. President Louis J. Brothers was among the featured speakers at the United States Industry Coalition (USIC) annual meeting held March 6-8, 2007 in Washington DC. Brothers discussed the collaborative effort between Valley Forge and physicists from the former Soviet Union and how this partnership resulted in the cutting-edge explosives detection technology Valley Forge is bringing to market.
The company's Explosives Detection System was also highlighted during the three-day conference. More than 100 professionals from various U.S. companies, federal agencies and foreign embassies attended the conference. USIC is a nonprofit association of American businesses, associations and academic institutions whose primary purpose is to promote technology commercialization in the service of nonproliferation, national security and global peace. They support the goals of the Global Initiatives for Proliferation Prevention (IPP) program headed by the United States Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration.
Following the USIC presentation Brothers and Valley Forge Director of Special Projects Randy Broadright met with Capitol Hill Senatorial and Congressional officials to discuss the company's technology.
